On climbing shoes, I've moved from La sportiva to Millet basically because of shape and sizing but The new Millet have Vibram rubber. I was under the impression that this was not the stickiest rubber for rock shoes, long lasting and good and grippy as used on my winter boots but am surprised they are used on rock shoes as well. thought stealth (and similar) rubber stuff would be used on them.

In reply to Billy-the-goat: oh and as an extra note la sportiva use vibram too, as do scarpa and... and... and...

In reply to Billy-the-goat: You might find that it's Vibram 2 used on a lot of rock boots as mentioned allready - would seem unlikely that it's standard vibram but it might be worth checking out before you throw your cash at it.
