Evening All.

Just a qwuick question, ove got a ME Gore Windstopper Jacket and needs a wash to remove all the chalk, im wondering if ot would be alright to wash it in Nikwax Waterproofing or something similar to give it a little extra proofing from the elements.

Anyone know if its alright to do this, or what to wash it in (detergant wise)? Cheers and Ta.

Start with a plain water wash first; that will shift most of the chalk. If it doesn't, use a soap-based cleaner (soapflakes, Nikwax Tech Wash, Grangers' Extreme cleaner etc.).

If you want it to remain water repellent (and you do...), don't use detergent.
