People may know by know that Charlie Fowler and Christine Boskoff are missing in Tibet. I have never meet Charlie but I have got to know Christine well through my time in the states and the Himalayas. She is known for a tough yet very caring girl with 6 of the 8000m peaks to her name as well as running the company Mountain Madness. While Charlie Fowler is a simply a legend in the climbing world.
The search which is being carried out for them is being self funded. Please check the websites for Alpinist and Mounteverest.net to see how you can help. I'm hoping for a silly result and they are sitting on some thai island relaxing after their climb but......
the climbing world has been rocked this year with the loss of some of its most colourfull people. I so hope this isn't another.
