So which is better? Or is Scarpa's rubber better now Davie McLeod uses them?

But Chris Sharma is climbing in Trax rubber so that must be the best surely. No hang on a minute, Dave Graham climbs in Five-ten, so Onyx must be the best. No, wait a sec.......

In reply to Glyn Jones: just to clear things up the rubber used to make boots is all the same stuff.
the only difference is that the guys who make it use a slightly differente compound depending on what a boot company wants but there is only 1 place they all get the rubber from so all the boot manufacturers that claim they have the stickiest climbing rubber in the world is all shit.

So the slightly different compound couldn't conceivably have any effect on the stickiness of the rubber then?

In reply to bezzer555:

Sorry, but that's a load of rubbish.

In reply to Ian McNeill:

Well the proof is in the fact the onyx sticks considerably better than the rubber I have on another pair of shoes...
