I'm after a pair of yeti gaiters in a size XL. But can find nowhere thats sells XL or has them in stock. I even tried berghaus to no avail. They don't have any in stock. I'm a size 48 so the terra gaiters won't do. Anyone else having problems sourcing size xl yeti gaiters
In reply to erika: I've tried gear zone only for them to take my money and then tell me they were not in stock and take 3 weeks to give me the money back. It's specifically the yeti style gaiters I'm after though.
I do have some of those military gaiters and they are the muts nutts as far as I am concerned. I've seen it advertised somewhere that they should withstand a nuclearblast. Bi far fetched but leads the imagination.
It's just that I'm finding snow gets stuck under the gaiter. Then melts and finds it's way into my boots making them cold. So I've after some full gaiters such as the yeti's for winter walking.
In reply to space monkey: What boots are you wearing where that's a problem? I have a pair of Rab eVent ones and so long as I get them pulled down tight over my boots I've never had an issue.
In reply to space monkey: I wear mantas too and have never had a problem with the Rab ones so long as they're pulled well down on my boots.
Just a thought...

In reply to Lemony: I've got some Rab Latok gaiters which look great, but I've never botherd to wear them yet, they just stay in my pack, and I let my pants get all muddy.... too many shity experiences with those bomber MOD gaiters, it will take snow for me to put em on LOL.
Good look in finding them, I've just asked for a refund from GearZone, hopefully they wont keep me waiting 3 weeks.
