I will be there for a family holiday soon, and I think I may be allowed a pass for a day, so I want to make the most of it.

I know there are a lot of sports crags in the area - so recommendations would be appreciated, but is there any decent trad around there too? Long mountain routes are my favourite, but I'll take what I can get!

Very interested to hear of peoples experience.

Thanks

In reply to mart rich: I recentley spent a week in Orgiva, so climbed at the crag there. It's a decent single pitch, roadside sports crag, some quite long pitches too. Suited me as it's near the town so we could pop over for a couple of short sessions in the evening (girlfriend obviousy didn't want to belay me all day).

Basically, worth a visit if you're in the area.

Went up into the mountains walking....didn't see any potential for long routes, the bits I saw weren't that spikey, but I didn't see everthing.

In reply to mart rich:
Capiliera is a nice crag (same topo mentioned above) with a nice high mountain village feel. Worth a day but no more than that.
