Soft shell jacket?

I think I'm gonna treat myself. Anybody any recommendations for a good winter climbing soft shell jacket. Its got to breathe well and be fairly robust with a decent helmet compatable full weight hood. Good fit under a harness. Colour is not an issue. The Gamma MX hoodie, and Patagonia dimension are the ones I've been looking at, anybody got any experience of either?

mx hoody is lovely. however it is painfully expensive... for me (tall slim build) it fits perfectly

Not on ebay it's not! You can pick them up on there for about £110, which is still not cheap but it's less than 50% of UK sales price.

In reply to Lakes Climber: Aye, Was looking at the dimension, it weighs the same as the Gamma MX, but feels a bit more robust.
