Crux Flak Jacket - Sizing Query?

After a lot of research and good advice from this forum I bought a Crux Flak jacket (size small) today - my chest size is 37-38 inches - according to Crux's size chart I should be a Medium.

Medium too roomy and small bang on even with a couple of layers (thermal + micro) - no room for any weight gain though or thicker layers!!

Has anyone had any similar experiences with Crux? For example, bought too large and regretted it or bought a neat fitting jacket and was happy with performance / movement etc.
