looks heavy and expensive.

what is a 'press', a cafetiere?

i have a plastic one cup cafetiere that turns out decent french style coffee at the camp site.
cost about a fiver.

In reply to snorbie:

the msr thing does looks like a faff. can't imagine it being much better than a £1.50 tea strainer

anyway, enjoy. nothing worse than manky instant coffee at camp.

Bought one last year in the states and have used an old nalgene bottle. Its fantastic! Such looks of jealousy as the smell of coffee wafts across the campsite!

There's a coffee press attachment for Jetboils. Fantastic!

Does anyone else steal those wee milk containers from cafes? Camping essentials.
