Are you creative?

Know how to use an image editor like Photoshop?

Reckon you know what outdoor companies are after when it comes to adverts?

This is your chance to get those creative juices flowing and deliver.

In the process you could win a shed load of climbing gear from La Sportiva, Beal and Petzl courtesy of Lyon Equipment the UK distributor of these premier climbing brands.

This is really good competion and I have some quite creative ideas.

However I have no knowlege of how to make a banner advert.

In reply to Wee Tam:

Open new under file. Set to 72 resolution and the correct pixel size, for example 728 x 90 if a standard banner.

Open all your source images that you have gathered make sure they are set at 72.

Then cut and paste, and select elements of an image or whole images and build your banner using layers.

Save for web.

Upload.

Are the banner sizes set as Height x Width or Width x Height (e.g. 728 High x 90 Wide or 728 Wide x 90 High)

In reply to John84:

width then height. 2 sizes you want are 728 wide by 90 high and 120 wide by 600 high. Make sure the filesize is under 20k as well!
