beal joker and gri gri?

Of to Kalymnos in september and will need a new rope was thinking of a beal joker but have heared they dont work well with some belay devices, has any one used one with a gri gri or maybe have used a beal boost 11, which is my second choice. any help in making up my mind would be apreciated.

In reply to russty: I wouldn't have thought it a good idea to be honest. Never tried it though. Go for the boost.

I wouldn't use a joker for sport climbing; too skinny. You'll trash it real fast.
