Hi Any advice would be appreciated.

rock and run were selling the thermics but unfortunatley never got them in my size.

I was keen on these boots but now have seen the snow and rock version.

Will these boots be still suitable for scottish winter stuff. This will be my first trip up there so I am just a beginner.

Thanks in advance

Rich

they'll be fine, but see other threads in this forum re narrow fit of these boots.

In reply to Richard: Looks like youve had the same problems as me!

They never had them in a 10.5 (the thermics) and it took rnr 5 days to tell me this. i ordered a 10.5 pair of sm9s yesterday so ill be interested to see how long it takes.

hope you have more luck with the sm9s.

In reply to Chris Georg:

Unfortunately Salomon let us down on the 10.5 Thermics at the last minute and we did not find out until Friday. We do have 10.5 Snow + Rock so your order will be on the way. We are also getting some Scarpa Freney in towards the end of the week which will be £95 - RRP£180. There should be 2 pairs of 45.5 (10.5) – not on the web yet.

In reply to Andy Hyslop Rock + Run: As it happens, i think it was a blessing in disguise.

i reckon the sm9s would be better suited to what i wanted from a mountain boot.

cheers for the prompt feedback anyhow and keep up the good work.
