Winter trousers Soft shell

I am after some winter walking/climbing trousers.
Thinking of the Rab Treklite or the VR or Montane Terra XT2.0. Or what ever else someone recommends price up to £80.
I 'd like some that have a high waist as I wear a buffalo shirt and want to avoid the cold mid riff you can get if not wearing salopettes.
I am struggling to try the Montane ones on as no one near by stocks them so getting an idea of how these are cut would be good as will be buying over the net.
I am 6ft with 32/33 waist.
So what do folks out there recommend.

To avoid the cold spot you're best off with something with braces like ME ultimate mountain pant or similar.

Rab VR pants might get damaged pretty quickly during climbing as the pertex is quite thin. Though come to think of it my VR top has lasted!
