Just bought a nice new pair of Pontas Lace-ups!
I was wondering if there was a reason for the really long laces they have? To tie the knot such that it doesn't get in the way i have to wrap both strands once around the bottom of the shoe...
Am i missing something?

Maybe for people with wider eat so they don't loose the ends when the unlace then?
If it's an issue just ask someone at your local wall to trim them with a hot knife
