As part of The DMM stand at The Outdoor Show, Beacon Climbing will be erecting a funky new modular tower with two 6m faces of 'ice' climbing foam for all to come and have a go at. The wall will be staffed by members The Association of Mountaineering Instructors (AMI) so you can be assured of being well looked after and of course it's an opportunity to try out some of DMM's latest ice climbing kit. There will also be a small traverse wall on which Gaz Parry & Ben Bransby will be running free masterclasses.

Beacon Climbing will also be showing off some new products including:

Discounted Fingerboards - we will be selling the tried & tested 'Fender' as well as a new ply board which has a good range of built in edges, pockets & slopers as well as a few bolt on sites to give extra versatility. The new board will be available at the show for just £20!

We will also be showing off some new plywood volumes for use on bouldering & training walls. These will be available soon as self assembly 'flat packs' - they won't be textured but each pack will come with some grip tape so that some selective texture can be applied. They will be easy to assemble and each face will have lots of tee nut placements. Pack prices will start from £30.

Finally the new modular system of wall we have built for DMM will shortly be available both as roped climbing towers and as lower level traverse walls. This system allows for lots of different configurations and can easily be changed or even moved to another location in the future.

So if you'd like some free climbing, want to see some of our new products, find out what climbing courses The Beacon run or perhaps discuss a potential wall building project then come and see us on The DMM stand (opposite Skymasters)
