I'm just after people's advice on getting a new winter climbing soft-shell to replace my Montane Eight Smock. I'm after something with a hi-loft liner, that can be worn on it's own on those cold dry days, and to go under a shell when it turns a bit nastier.

I've been looking at the following:

-ME Pulsar Jacket
-Patagonia Speed Ascent
-Arcteryx Hercules Hoody
-Arcteryx Gamma SV Hoody

From what I've read it seems that the Hercules Jacket might be the least wind resistance, but does anyone have any experience of any of these jackets, or any other recommendations?

Cheers
