Not only is Dave renowned as one of the worlds top all round climbers, he is also one of the most respected coaches and climbing based sports scientists. We are delighted that he will be coming to The Climbing Academy in Bristol to host one of our open coaching clinics and give a very rare SW lecture.

Saturday 23rd: Dave MacLeod daytime open coaching clinic
Dave will be on hand in the centre from 1pm to 5pm to help any customers with questions, training advice or climbing technique. There is no charge above standard entry.

Saturday 23rd: Dave MacLeod evening Lecture - How Soon Is Now
Having climbed the world's hardest and riskiest trad routes for several years, Dave MacLeod asks himself why the desire to keep taking risks and looking for harder rock climbs to attempt keeps getting stronger. Dave will try to show us why he loves the very delayed gratification of impossible seeming climbs so much, why getting to the top is one of the least important parts of the picture and show us some E11 climbing, on pitch 18 of his current project.
Adults £17.50 U18's £12.50

We will be closing normal service at 5.30pm to prepare for the lecture. Climbing for ticket holders from 6pm, lecture starts 8.15pm.

In reply to The Climbing Academy: he doesn't just love the delayed gratification he 'loves loves' the delayed gratification, is that like some sort of super love.....
In reply to tatty112:

In reply to The Climbing Academy: hopefully you will extend the same 'love love' to your proof reader!
In reply to tatty112:
Unfortunately dyslexia and design work are not always the perfect of bedfellows. It keeps us and our customers smiling though.
