Has anybody here used Kong's Duck ascender? What is your opinion? Is it suitable for self belaying on (fixed) half rope in emergency situations? (I know producer's leaflet says that one can use the device in this mode provided it stays below ones waistline. I am asking about your opinion / experience.)
