Hi,

I've recently finished uni and now looking for a job, I currently live in Derby which is not bad for indoor and outdoor climbing, but I don't want to end up getting a job somewhere where the nearest climbing of any description is hours away. I was wondering if there are any parts of the country I should avoid if I want to continue climbing?

I go pretty regularly like 2-4 times a week

Areas to avoid... that's pretty simple - the South East! However, you then look at where the majority of jobs are, and you have to make some difficult decisions.

I was somewhat limited by lack of time and transport last time I was there but I seem to recall Northamptonshire being pretty dire.
