Climb-Mountains is holding a competition for UKC members.

To celebrate the opening of our new website http://www.climb-mountains.com and in recognition of the current tough economic climate we would like to offer you the chance to win 2 days of guiding or instruction for 2 people.

The Prize
There is one prize of 2 days guiding or instruction for up to 2 people. You can choose any course from the website with the condition that it has to be based in North Wales. You could choose to go climbing, scrambling or navigating.

The competition
Hidden within the pages of the website are some silhouetted climbing figures like the one opposite. They could be on any of the pages accessed from the 3 pop-up menus “rock climbing”, “hill & mountain” and “snow and ice”. They are not on any pages that are not directly accessed from those three menu tabs. To be in with a chance to win you need to answer the following 2 questions

Answer the following 2 questions:
1. What is the total number of hidden climbers?
2. Ian and a friend had an amazing day skiing in Scotland last winter and made a short video about the great day. What was the peak they skied up and back down?

Email your answers to info@climb-mountains.com including your full name and a contact phone number.

The conditions
Only 1 entry per individual
The winner can nominate 1 person to join them for the prize
Only courses advertised on the web site and run in north Wales are on offer

In reply to Ian Hey: Apologies. It appears there is a problem with the images of the silhouetted climber not displaying properly on some browsers. We are looking into this now and will post back here when the problem is fixed.

to help everyone out one example of the image should be visible at
http://www.climb-mountains.com/rock_climbing.php
it should be at the bottom left of the main text box under the 3 photos.
It seems some browsers are not showing this image

As i said as soon as this problem is sorted I will post back on here again.
Apologies for the delay.

In reply to Ian Hey:

2 days left to enter. Get those entries in soon.

remember what you do with the 2 days if you win is entirely up to you:
-Bag classic rock routes in Snowdonia
-Go sea-cliff adventuring at Gogarth
-Progress from seconding to making your first ever leads
-Advance your mountain navigation skills to give you increased confidence in bad weather
-Have a refresher for an upcoming assessment SPA, ML, WGL, MIA
-Tick some classic Snowdonia Scrambles
-Develop the skills to scramble independently
-Preparation and skills training for a Cuillin Ridge traverse or a summer Alpine trip.
-Improve your climbing technique
-Learn some improvised rescue techniques to give you the confidence to tackle more adventurous routes on sea-cliffs or in the mountains.

The choice is yours

just remember. You cant win if you don't enter
Good Luck
