VACANCY AT CLIMB ROCHDALE
Full Time Climbing Centre Assistant -
Climb Rochdale are looking to employ a friendly and outgoing person, with a keen interest in climbing and instructing to work in our climbing centre. Basic computer literacy and a good telephone manner are essential. Climbing instruction experience and retail knowledge would be an advantage, but in house training will be provided to a suitable candidate with limited experience. The successful applicant will be 18 years old or over, and will be expected to work a shift system including evenings and some weekend work approximating to a full-time job. No overtime will be paid.
Wage will be based on experience and qualifications.
We are keen to appoint as soon as possible: applications should be returned by 31st August 2010
Freelance Instructors -
Climb Rochdale are currently looking for freelance instructors to help us deliver our busy instructional program. Preference will be given to experienced candidates, who would ideally hold an SPA or CWA, though we will consider those that have undergone SPA or CWA training.
Trainee instructors -
We would also be interested to speak to people wishing to gain experience in supervising groups. In-house training will be provided to suitable candidates – minimum age 17.
