After the huge success of last years Welsh Climbing championships, we're back for another blast. On Saturday December the 11th, we'll be running a one-off competition at the recently re-opened Summit Centre, run by the guys and girls from Rock UK. Changes from last year include a new format, whereby each competitor attempts two qualifying routes in the morning with the top 10 in each category competing in a final that afternoon to battle it out for the 2010 trophy.

Registration opens at 0930 with the competition staring at 10.00, entry is £15 for the day and all entrants will receive a competition Tshirt. The two qualifying routes will be demonstrated and climbed in the normal 'Flash' format, whilst the finals will be run as on-sights. Age categories are;

•8-10 (combined male female )
•11-13 (combined male female )
•14-16 Male, 14-16 Female
•Adult Male, Adult Female
•Student Male, Student Female *
•RockUk Staff

This is an open event run in a friendly manner, which last year attracted climbers from all across the south west and beyond. This year the event has kindly been supported by 'Cotswold' who are generously offering a 20% discount voucher to all competitors and along side 'Performance Coaching' and 'Tiny climb' there are some great prizes up for grabs!
