30 people managed the trip to Staveley on Tuesday.
Officers Martin Kocsisi (Volunteers) and Rob Dyer (Access England) made it from Manchester.
AGM
The formal business was attended to -
* The "committee" were re-elected unopposed Ewen Turner continues in the Chair; James Bumby as Sec.; Polly Sullivan and Steve Scott as Nat. Council Reps; Peter Latimer co-ordinates the Access Team, a cast of thousands; and Dan Robinson continues the crag care work.
* Access update incl. details of bans imposed at Scratchmere Scar and the Hoff; BMC access rep. Ron Kenyon is negotiating. And success at Scout Scar with some closures agreed for shooting. see BMC RAD for details....
Other reports were received with equanimity; the club loans policy proposal was approved with a couple of sensible caveats. An appeal was made from Dan for assistance with updating the Lakes Bolt Fund website - this is still open - please contact Dan! he's desperate....and thank him when you clip a new bolt at St.Bees or Mill Side. And he'll carry on replacing fixed abseil tat....

Nick Wharton gave us an update on the latest FRCC guidebooks; Eastern Crags is at the printers and should be available for Easter. Eden Valley & South Lakes Limestone isn't far behind. Brian Davison is also working revising and updating the brilliant Winter Guide. Some crag photos are needed, if you contact Phil Rigby of the FRCC he'll tell you which ones...

Date for the 2011 BMC Lakes Festival - June 10th - 12th at the Duddon -make a note!

Beer and sandwiches and much discussion ensued after......people slid off earlier than normal due to the wintry conditions...
