Anybody got any ideas about the length of time rock shoe rubber can be left unused?
Does it 'go off' after a certain time?
The reason I ask is I have a pair of old skool 90's Lazers sitting unused. I will climb in them at some point but not yet.....
Anyone with any idea?

I'd be interested in this one as I'm sure some of my older boots of the same model are less sticky than the newer ones and wonder often about some old stock being sold in shops. I wonder if deep water soloing and sun affects them too?

Haha! These Lazers are definitely not getting any sea and sun action. Too precious!
I'm hoping to use eventually them on classic mountain routes. Something suitably cool. Even if they turn out not as sticky as when they were made (early 90's) I doubt it'll hinder my 'talents'.

I hve found that some rubber seems to go a bit shiny if left unused for a long time. However, it seems to come good again after a couple of uses.

Cheers, glad to hear that.
