Want to climb classic routes on Ben Nevis?

For lots of people, climbing routes on Ben Nevis is the ultimate Winter Climbing experience, however the serious nature of the surroundings, the length of the routes and the somewhat mythical black art of protecting Ben routes all quite rightly make people cautious.

Glenmore Lodge have the solution...join us for our week of Ben Nevis Ice & Mixed routes. During the week (conditions allowing) our expert instructors will not only guide you on routes up to grade V.5 but will also help you out with tips and techniques that will help you to improve your personal climbing level. Our aim is to climb some of the classic routes, whilst developing you skills base and helping you to become familiar with the layout of the Ben, increasing your confidence and safety for any future personal trips.

The course is based at the CIC hut on the Ben, so the routes are literally just out the door meaning you get maximum possible climbing time. This is our highest level of skills course and as such has some specific pre-requistes, please visit http://tiny.cc/bfurw for full details on the course.

We still have availability for our course on 21st March but would be happy to take enquiries for different dates. Especially if you are a group of 2 or 4 people. These courses run later in the season deliberately as we have found this time of winter historically has given the best possible conditions.

Glenmore Lodge is Scotland's National Outdoor Training Centre and all of our instructors for this course have at least ten years experience of delivery high quality training courses as well as a high level of personal climbing. For details of all our courses and to book on-line please visit http://www.glenmorelodge.org.uk
