Scafell, Great Gable scramble conditions

H and I are up in Wasdale this weekend. Amongst other things, we were looking at getting in some easy scrambling. However as H has minimal experience in moving on rock, I don't want to end up on something that will terrify her.

So can anyone recommend any scrambles around Great Gable or Scafell, or around that area that isn't too technical or exposed, and is likely to be in reasonable condition at the moment.
