Hi there folks,

Is late June(the very last days 29,30)too early for the Badile Northeast face? What about the crowd at that time?
Last but not least, if I rap down to Italy, how long(and difficult) is the way back to switzerland? Can it be done at night?

I did the cassin route at the end of June in 2007. The bergschrund were pretty big on the approach but other than that it was tshirt weather to the top. It is the very beginning of the summer season though..
We desended donw the North ridge so cant help on the Italy part.

I also forgot to ask if one needs big boots(crampons) for the aproach of just regular approach shoes would do???
