Can anybody give me advise on a good mountain bike route guide for the UK? Have just dusted of my Mountain Bike this easter and am keen to get out on it.

THe Chris Gore / richard Staton ones are good - cover the Lakes and Dales, and the crappy over rated place between Sheffiled and Manchester.

I love my Henry Tindell Guide to the North Midlands. The man is genius. Perfect distances, descriptions and variety, some single track sections, some fireroad, some technical and some country lanes & roads.
