Any info on sport climbing close to Heidelberg in Germany would be greatly appreciated. Off out there this Summer to see friends and hopefully get some climbing in........

In reply to Davebrown135: If you've got a car then it would be worth heading for the Pfalz. Great sand stone routes some with bolts some trad. It's only about 40 or 50 miles from heidelberg and is well worth a visit. There's a Panico guide to the area.

The Pfalz is awesome. Especially if you like a nice glas of wine after your climb! The Riesling they make increased in quality over the last few years and the people in the area know how to have a good time
