Hello Ukc, I'm heading to hope in't peak at weekend and was wondering if ukc could recommend not one but TWO pubs in/near hope.

Pub 1 is to be a nice drinking pub for Friday/Saturday. Ideally with a disco(!), dancing local girls and alchopops/lager.

Pub 2 is to be a fantastic eating pub, maybe gastro pubby servicing decent lunch. I've been to cheshire cheese and it was ok but open to new ideas. Ideally less than 40quid a head!

In reply to Sam_in_Leeds: Not sure there is a fully paid up Gastro Pub in Hope. But the Old Hall and the Poachers Arms both do good food. The Poachers probably would be the more Gastro of the 2.
