The next Lakes Area Meeting will be on Wednesday 8th June at 7.30pm.
It will be held at The Twa Dogs Inn, Keswick, details of which are on the BMC Communities Site
News of the Lakes Bolt Fund, as well as crag restorations and access updates will be on the agenda. If you have any issues or concerns to raise with the area team or the BMC, this is the place to do it. The BMC’s CEO, Dave Turnbull will be in attendance, and will be able to answer all your questions on any subject you care to choose (except particle physics). We hope to see you there ......
LAKES FESTIVAL of CLIMBING
The fourth BMC Lakes Festival of Climbing will be taking place over the weekend of the 10th -12th June in the Duddon Valley. It is a chance to get to know a quiet corner of the Lake District at a great time of the year. The weather has been booked and the crags (especially the high crags like Esk Buttress) are in good condition.
