 Topic - Soto Micro Regulator Stove

Bought the Soto micro stove at Christmas. Kept bragging to my friends how wonderfull it was.
Thing is first time out in cold weather after 2min it died on me, what a slagging my mates gave me.
Put their pocket rocket on my canister and it was off full pelt cracking flame.
Tried this several times with the Soto micro super duper regulator thingy
same result 2min then dead.
Took it back to Tiso who sent it back to supplier. Tiso have now given me another new one and could not tell me what the fault was with other one.
As my confidence in this advertised beauty is now ripped apart, I will be carrying two stoves next time out. Defeats the whole purpose of lightweight. Anyone else had similar problems...? |
