Does anyone have any experience of the Blue Ice Octopus Rope Bag. I want a new crag pack. Not mountaineering specific, durable, with the right features, low weight and with excellent access. The type of thing you use on crags with small to moderate walk ins, for example Stanage and the Roaches but not Napes Needle or the upper Kinder Crags.

I like the look of the Blue Ice but it looks like all the load will be transferred through the zip - this seems like an obvious flaw? Does anyone have any actual experience of the pack?

I also like the look of the Arcteryx Miura after seeing the review on UKC but its very heavy and looks a little over featured.

I've been using one for the last two months now. Mostly to stuff harness, rack and two pairs of shoes for both me and the gf. Still carry the rope(s) in a separate bag because of the two person use. It's durable, but I try not overstuffing it, in order to prevent the zipper from bursting.
