Does anyone else have issue with the undoing of it?
Mine seams to jam, have to go up a bit before it undoes.
Have i got a bust jacket?
Anyone from Alpkit here?
In reply to fire_munki:

Some zipper units have a locking feature, where the 'U' piece of the zipper moves, and, to release it, you pull up on the tab, or manually lift it to open the zip. YKK Vislons sometimes have this. It may be that this is the problem you're having. Or it may be a duff zip.

I'll see if I can remember to check my Filo.

Of course, you could just ask the nice people at Alpkit directly; they're very friendly...

In reply to fire_munki: yeah sounds like mine, not sure if its a fault or a feature but its never really bothered me.

Finally remembered; yes, my 2012 Filo has a locking YKK zipper. You have to lift the 'horseshoe' a little to release the lock. For the benefit of zip spotters, I think it's a YKK 5CN-DU

Said with respect of course. Well, that's how I read it!

Awe-inspired respect, of course.

In reply to fire_munki:

Yes I too have major issues with the zip on my Filo jacket. It too jams up when undoing it. I've even had to resort to pulling the jacket over my neck in frustration to take it off.

Little Miss Lemming seems to be the only one who has the tact of undoing the zip.

Either the zips are dodgy or the material is too thin and gets easily trapped in the mechanism.

What, that I can look things up in a catalogue...?
