How much would you expect to pay in the Everest region per night in a Tea House for Dinner Bed & Breakfast?

In reply to Nick Mortley: A La Carte or Table d'Hote? Seriously I don't think much more than £7 or £8. However someon here many know otherwise.

In reply to Nick Mortley:

On a recent trip, we paid in wood. And we were glad to be rid of the wood.

Christmas/new year 2010 so off season from Shivilaya(sp) to Namche Bazzar the rooms were either 100 or 200 of their currency (just under £1/£2)a night room sleeps 2. After it got cheaper 100 or strangely in gorak shep free!
Food is entirely up to you and how much you eat,it's cheap low down max £4/day it gets more expensive the higher you go, but if you stick to dahl bat you can eat all you like high up for 450/500 their currency 2/300 for breakfast, stay off the booze if you are on a budget wait till you get back to civilisation

In reply to Nick Mortley: I would recomend you budeget at £10-15 a day which will cover a beer or too along the way. A lot depends on how much u like the staple dal baht.
