I work away at sea - month on/month off, and need help developing a training program that I can use on a ship with very limited space and resources. Any ideas/suggestions welcome.

Bachar ladder, perhaps?

In reply to TDBM: Wasn't there a famous solo sailor that would jump off the front (I know it's not called a front, or a rear thank you), swim furiously alongside, then grab the rear - just to keep his fitness up, and senses sharp. Bit extreme but....

I work away at sea as well, I usually take my rock rings with me but havent got them on the job I am on now. I tend however to climb up the backs of the stair cases using just my hands, do dead hangs and generally keep my strength up by doing pull ups etc. I have been doing the insanity workout too for the past few weeks and it is does seem good for keeping your fitness levels up if there is no gym etc.
