 Topic - Sardinia - new steep tufa climbing crag

If you like climbing tufas overhanging 1-in-4 around 7b and 7c/+, and I realise that this is a small minority of visitors to Sardinia, you would have fun at the new Dinopark sector 15 mins by foot from Pedra Longa, Baunei. This video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsIZcFlaz9Q gives you a good feel for what the climbing is like. Topos at http://27crags.com/crags/dinopark There are currently a 6b, a pumpy 6c+, 4 7b’s, one 7b+, 4 7c/+’s, …this winter we make some easier routes as well. Sheltered from rain! To the left there's the more vertical Vernacoliere sector, 5's to 7a, good for warming up.
