Hi anybody know if the NZ Alpine Club huts will give a discount with BMC membership card? I'm thinking specifically the Plateau Hut, Aoraki?

Also how busy does it get at that hut over the Christmas/New Year period? Does the Haast provide potential overspill capacity, I know it's only 4 bunks?

The Plateau Hut is operated by DoC

Mail the staff at the Mt Cook DoC Office.

As for the Xmas and NY period, it's the peak of the summer holidays here.
