Does anyone have any experience of Mountain King trekking poles? I need a new pole to replace one a friend left in the pub, and I'm quite taken with the idea of buying some outdoor kit which is made in the UK.

I had a pair of Trail Blaze (the super light ones). They were very good, but not very strong (I didn't expect them to be), but when one broke they sold me a new section for under a tenner, and through in a couple of new velcro straps FOC.
Unfortunately somebody stole them :-(

The other half and I have The Mountain King Trail Blaze, which is a super lightweight 'racing pole' for when we are mountain running.

Can't fault the quality and they were about half the price of the Raidlight equivalent.

No experience of their heavier & sturdier poles as I use a pair of BD Expeditions when ski touring / snow shoeing etc..
