Can anyone tell me whether Glenmore bothy is still open? Ta.

I hadn't heard of it until now, I've just looked it up. You've probably seen the same info as I have - closed due vandalism.

Yes, I saw that it was closed several years ago but I can't find anything recent.

I looked for this on the MBA site but could not find it so guess it is not one of theirs ?

When I last passed Glenmore (6 or 7 yrs ago) the small lean-to at west end was open and could have given a dry basic shelter.

There are at least 4 other bothies south and west of the Schiehallion, on a fairly steep sliding scale of amenity. A 5th (Glen Sassunn) is too ruinous to qualify.
