Hi,

Does anyone know if you can get custom made climbing shoes, can't find anything online.

In reply to GridNorth: True I suppose, but once you had your own lasts made the cost would only be slightly higher than off the rack

They are hand made as it is. I suspect that the price of the shoes doesn't really reflect the number of hours needed to make them. As Al says one-off shoes would probably be incredibly expensive. There used to be a guy in North Wales called Richard Stanley who made rock boots - Bryn Boots, I think. I remember Mal Creasey climbing in some that had been custom made for him at Tremadog... but that was a long time ago. No, it just wouldn't be a viable thing.
