Hi all,

Just wondering if the block on Route One (Impossible Buttress) has always been about to fall out? The one about 1/4 the way up?

If anyone has a photo I'll point it out.

It moved when I put my hand on it (didn't have to weight it) and I wouldn't even dare step on it. On close inspection I really can't see what's holding it up, there is a gap all of the way around it and it's not shaped or chocked to be held by any other blocks.

I know the crag is famed for loose blocks but...

Even if it has "always been like that" I'd suggest that your belayer stands well to the left of the route and close in to the wall.
