The Lakeland Climbing Centre has secured three railway arches in Vauxhall, London to build a premium central London bouldering wall, just 7 minutes from Oxford Circus by tube and 100m from Vauxhall tube and overground stations.

Work has commenced to finalise planning consent and build work is anticipated to start in early July.

The new wall will welcome our Kendal members if they find themselves down the Big Smoke, we also hope it will encourage London climbers to travel north and sample the tallest wall in England and the fine crags of the Lake District.

Great news, another bouldering venue south of the river and excellent for public transport.
As a longstanding Vauxhall local we are used to sweaty, tired looking guys in singlets wandering around so climbers should fit in very well!
