/ Denali-Magnetic declination
Just trying to find out if anyone knows what the magnetic declination/variation is for Denali area in Alaska this year? Tried to google it but struggling a bit.
any help appreciated
You just input the lat and long (63.069, -151.007)
25 years ago, you subtracted 26 degrees. Which doesn't help you for nowadays.
David, thanks a lot a very useful site.
Andy,haha- aah well you must have some great memories of the place anyway:)
Yeah looks like it to me, and positive rather than negative. So add for grid and subtract for mag i guess.
No, were in the same boat. Im just gonna pick one up in anchorage, probly at REI. cant get hold of a noseguard for the sunglasses either so will just get that over there too. Fly out tuesday-when are you guys flying out again?
rEI is well good for freeze dried, gels and GU brew. If you're buying in bulk you should be able to haggle extra discount. cliff bars are cheaper at Fred meyer.
