In reply to mauricechetwyndwoods1: I think it has the external dry coating but not the core one. Or so my other half says! He's the gear head! It still has the plastic banding on it and is factory coiled and is a 10mm single rope.

They don't appear to have a brand on them. I bought them here: http://www.technique-extreme.com/ in chamonix september before last and have used them once since as they are a bit tight for me. On looking at the website I think they might be 'Technique Extreme'.

I'm pretty sure it this rope but an older version as the colour looks slightly more orangy: http://www.mytendon.com/rope-tendon-ambition-10-2#scroll so actually a 10.2. Still factory coiled with the plastic banding on it!
