The Beacon end of term Climbing Comp
Saturday June 29th 2013. Registration from 9:30am
This is a fun day for kids of all abilities and experience, who were born between 1996 and 2005. Each competitor will be given a score sheet with a list of 10 specially set climbs. Competitors can select 5 top rope climbs to attempt, with harder climbs being worth more points. Competitors have one attempt at each of their 5 climbs. There are full points for getting to the top, and bonus points if they don't get to the top, but make it to a designated bonus hold. With only one attempt at each climb, selecting the right climbs is a challenge in itself.
Admission is £5.50 per competitor, and entry forms are available from Beacon Climbing Centre http://www.beaconclimbing.com
