Hi

I am off to snowdonia for the 1st time on Thursday for my birthday and was wondering if anyone could recommend a campsite or hostel to stay in.

Something cheapish with some basic facilitates like a hot showers etc and not too far from a decent pub would be great.
Any recommendations for pubs and decent places to eat out are also appreciated too

Depends where you are heading specifically.

Can highly recommend Eric Jones just outside Tremadog. You'll find showers and a nice breakfast in the cafe.

No showers but I am also very fond of the one in nant peris and gwern gof isaf which is at the base of Tryfan.

In reply to BarmyAlex118: There are two in Nant Peris, practically opposite a pub. I think tou have to pay for showers on top, but they're only £5 a night
