We are planning to go to the Lakes this weekend, Keswick, it looks like it may be wet, so can anyone suggest any rock climbs/areas that would stay dry.

I did Corvus, Diff (borrowdale)last year in the pissing rain, it certainly didn't stay dry but was climbable anyway. Good route, worth the wet pants.

Shepherds Chimney remains dry most of the time and Armathwaite can often be climbable when wet in the lakes.

In reply to kevinroet: Any E numbers up to E4, maybe overhanging, or a big cave??

In reply to kevinroet:

The Exorcist, E4, at Armathwaite overhangs and stays pretty dry.

Seem to remember Castle Rock staying grippy despite being soaking.

In reply to Glenn Sutcliffe: Those rusty bolts are looking rather tired though! A nice enough place to sit and watch the rain though
