Hello folks,

In France at moment, in Portes du Soleil area, but moving on this week as biking season has finished.
Have a van full of kit including winter stuff, and can't decide whether to play dice with the weather and head Cham direction or head Pyrenees.

Knowing nothing about them, where are some good bases for the Pyrenees? Looking at doing mostly walking, day and multi day, with some easy higher mountain routes if possible, and some valley rock. We have van so travel is not a problem.

Suggestions please!!

Cauterets is beautiful and would be a fairly good base for most outdoor stuff.
