Vallis Vale, Somerset closed

The owners of Vallis Vale, Hanson UK, have closed the whole of Vallis Vale while they rebuild the footpath through the valley. Signs at each end of the valley say the footpath will be closed for 6 months (presumably to the end of February 2014). Hanson have always been against climbing in their disused quarries so it would be counter productive to break their footpath closure and bring the use of the quarry for climbing to their attention.
